The JOURNEY to effortless GRACE and ENDURANCE in the water
BEGINS WITH A SIMPLER APPROACH TO MOVING THROUGH THE WATER
LEARN THE ART OF BEING A CONSCIOUS SWIMMER
Engage your senses in the water and feel the complexities fall away
Use the principles of Total Immersion Swimming and the mind body connection to experience flow and grace instead of resistance and struggle. Swimming will become a joyous exploration of lifelong improvement.
DO ANY OF THESE RING TRUE FOR YOU?
YOU ARE NOT THE LEAST BIT COMFORTABLE IN WATER
Have you taken lessons that made you so nervous that you weren’t sure you’d survive them? Or maybe you’re quite comfortable in the shallow end where you know that you can stand, but the deep end scares you to death?
My approach is to ensure that you are patient and present during your learning. It will make all the difference in the world.
YOU GET TIRED AFTER SWIMMING
JUST ONE LAP
You run, you bike, you hike and you are generally a fit person, but you swim a length and you feel like you are dying!
You swim harder and longer and put more time and effort into the endeavor, but you still struggle. Does this sound like you?
My approach is to teach you about the reduction of drag and streamlining. You don’t have to waste energy to get faster.
YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH AIR
Why is it so hard to catch a breath when you’re swimming? Why does it feel like your whole stroke falls apart right then and you can get it back a little bit less each time you breathe?
Learn how to incorporate the breath into the rhythm and timing of your stroke and you will have enough air.
YOU’RE JUST GETTING STARTED
When you are just getting started learning to swim may feel overwhelming. There are so many moving parts and you’re not really sure what you should be doing with any of them.
I teach you the Total Immersion system which breaks the stroke into smaller chunks. This makes learning much more manageable.
